I started working with kids when I interned at the NYPL as a "literacy leader" tutoring 1st & 2nd graders. I worked 1 on 1 with a little girl from the DR, who arrived not knowing any English, and it was so rewarding to bond with her, teach her the language, and witness her joy as she learned. Over the summer I interned at a nursery school and worked with 1-4 year olds! A little bit about me, I'm 23 years old and recently graduated from Lehman College in May 2026 with a degree in Psychology. I'd describe my personality as sweet, funny, and calm!
