Hi! My name is Kaidy- I graduated with a B.S. from West Virginia University in 2013, then continued to take classes towards a Master’s degree in Education shortly after. I have worked both as a preschool teacher and a full-time nanny since then. I am offering childcare, such as nanny and babysitting, and pet services. I’ve always loved taking care of kids; I started babysitting at 11 years old and continued that career path through my adulthood. I’ve worked with children off all ages ranging from infants and toddlers (including twins!), all the way through high school age. I have the education and training to care for all different types of children through my work as a Paraprofessional; this includes children with developmental, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities as well as children with autism. In my previous nannying experience, my responsibilities with the children have included (but are not limited to): driving or using public transit to take children to school, museums, parks/playgrounds, and sports; daily arts and crafts; STEM experiments; teaching phonics, basic math, writing skills, and homework help; integrating music through guitar, song and dance; and creating engaging, and often educational, daily games. Additionally, I offer household services to the families I work with, such as: laundry, cleaning general play areas, cooking meals, and running errands. I have both a dog and a cat at home- I love animals! So I am offering pet care services as well. I am trained and certified in infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid, and I have utilized my skills several times working with children. I have successfully preformed the Heimlich Maneuver on separate occasions for a baby and a toddler, as well as identified the signs of a child experiencing an asthma attack and immediately used their rescue inhaler. I have also administered regular medication to children (and pets!) and I feel totally comfortable doing so. I don’t have any children of my own, but I grew up the oldest of 30 first cousins and I have absolutely loved being able to care for them, as well as children of any age and background; to see them grow, and help them flourish, is an honor that I don’t take lightly. I am confident in creating a fun, engaging, and educational experience for your little ones. I hope to show your family the compassion and strong work ethic that I have to offer!

Hi families! I’m Ann-Lyz, I’m new this platform and eager to get started . I’m currently majoring in early childhood development. I love reading and sports and spending time outside. I have three years of experience in child care in many roles, including a little league soccer coach, camp counselor, and personal babysitter. I have experience with babies from five months up to 14 years old. I love teaching kids while creating a fun and safe environment. When babysitting, I prioritize an active and engaging day. Whether that be dance parties, park visits, playing board games, doing arts and crafts, tummy time, or practicing a new language. I have my own reliable transportation and am open to light housework/pet care. Message me with any questions; I’m eager to hear from you! Looking forward to providing an excellent time for your little ones! Currently looking for a full time permanent position

“Awesome sitter!! Ann-Lyz was responsive, responsible, and so caring for my two little ones. Showed such a calm demeanor and readiness to play and engage with indoor play, outdoor play, and feeding them dinner to bedtime. My 6 yr old is usually a bit skeptical but took to Ann-Lyz right away, and my 8 yr old said she loved playing with Ann-Lyz. We will definitely be asking Ann-Lyz to come back and sit for us! They had such a wonderful time. Highly recommend.”

Hi! My name’s Guadalupe, and I’ve always had a natural talent for caring for others and creating calm, positive environments. I have several years of experience working with children—everything from school pick-ups and homework help to planning fun outings and bedtime routines. I’m patient, responsible, and very organized, which helps me stay on top of daily tasks while keeping kids happy and safe. I’ve also helped with light household duties like meal prep, laundry, and tidying up, and I’m comfortable around pets (I’ve cared for both dogs and cats). Families I’ve worked with describe me as reliable, warm, and communicative. I really enjoy building trusting relationships and becoming part of a family’s support system.

Hello Parents, My name is Patricia, im a Studio Art college graduate and originally from Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. My childcare experience began at the age of 11. Living with both my aunts and uncles under one roof, babysitting my younger cousins wasn't a job it was apart of my life. Before graduating from college, I studied abroad in South Korea. where I taught English as a second language in winter/summer camps for younger learners (age range: 5-10). For the past four and half years, I have had the opportunity to care for children varying in age from 2 1/2 months to 11 years old from UrbanSitter since 2012 and working as an on-call nanny for Bright Horizons agency for 4 years. Currently work as Special Education D75 Paraprofessional for the DOE. Working with Children with ADHD and Autism. What I like most about babysitting is developing activities that focus of creative exploration like coloring, drawing, painting, legos, imaginary story telling, stage play, and going on library/park/ museum outings. I also love reading and sing songs. In my free time, I love practicing Yoga, dance, and reading.

“Patricia was excellent! She asked good questions ahead of time to make sure she knew what was expected of her during her care of my cats. She followed up regularly with updates and pictures.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
