I hope all is well with you and your families. Over the years, it has been a great joy to be a source of relief and comfort for dozens of families worldwide, supporting their childcare, household management, and senior care needs. Like many of us, I started nannying during college. My undergraduate degree in Legal Research, combined with my interest in International Business, gave me the opportunity to study in New York, South Korea, Egypt, and Italy. My cultural adaptability, patience, and reliability have allowed families to entrust me with the care of their most precious loved ones. After college, I dedicated my time and expertise to supporting families with long-term needs. I have experience with infants to school-age children, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges. I am familiar with rotational schedules and flying to destinations on a rotation basis. I have accompanied families on holidays and served as a valuable extension of their comprehensive needs, especially for high-net-worth individuals. Regarding my demeanor, I am lighthearted and love to laugh. I remain calm in stressful situations and am well-equipped to handle the unexpected. I love learning and am never too proud to admit when I am wrong. My superpower is learning quickly. Outside of my professional life, I am quite adventurous. I love trying new things, whether it’s a new sport, restaurant, or activity. I enjoy walking long distances, watching and reviewing films, and, of course, my love for travel remains strong.

“Kiyonah has been a reliable and good babysitter for our child. She is punctual, follows instructions carefully, and engages the child with patience and creativity. We appreciate her calm and attentive approach, and our child was happy and well-cared-for in her presence. We confidently recommend her to any family.”

Hello - my name is Jas! Currently I’m looking for some part time work, and I have availability for 1-2 evenings a week or weekend. I got into babysitting at a young age for kids in my neighborhood. As I got older I expanded into other parts of childcare as well! Some of my experience includes volunteering at my local children’s center as an after school aide, working and hosting birthday parties at my previous job, being a camp counselor every summer for years, and being a nanny for the past 4 years. I've been working with kids for almost 7 years now, and before the pandemic I was a part time crafts teacher at an after school program. I was in charge of a class of 10-15 kids for a few hours every week doing small projects together. All in all I adore my time with kids and I’m not afraid to get down on the ground and play with or engage your child when it comes down to it. I am very motivated to help children be happy, healthy, and well behaved. I am very interested in helping you with your child and I am really flexible with scheduling. I have previous caregiving experience in dropping off/picking up children, helping them with homework, doing crafts, preparing simple meals, doing indoor/outdoor activities, reading, bedtime routines, etc. If you have a pet I don’t mind! I am not allergic to cats or dogs so I am all good on that front. I look forward to hearing from you!

How’s it going , When it comes to raising four boys at home, The safety awareness skills you learn while mothering your own children will stay with you throughout your life. Racing my four boys taught me the stages of childhood development and what to expect at different ages. These skills are useful when working with kids at any time in the future and especially if you are planning on working with children to make living! How to entertain children With enough motherhood skills plus caring for other children, you can have child-entertaining down to a fine art. You can quickly become a master of playing, reading, singing, drawing, improvising, and having fun. Children get sick a lot (particularly when attending childcare centers), so caring for them when they are not well is something you will pick up right away. There are many tactics to know that can make a child feel more comfortable, loved, and to help them recover quicker. You can also learn how to prevent the spread of germs and stop other people from getting sick, including yourself! Helping children to understand their emotions, manage their feelings, and learn the difference between right and wrong behavior is challenging, but it is also a rewarding experience. There are many subtleties to learn and every family may have a slightly different set of disciplinary values they wish to uphold. Sometimes children are prone to tantrums. You can learn to pre-empt trigger situations, and how to plan around them. You can learn the art of distraction (very powerful) and if a tantrum does occur, you can learn how to stay calm in stressful situations while remaining firm with your principles. Child encouragement and motivation strategies! Explaining why things need to be done! Building trust, and; Leading by example. These learned strategies can be invaluable in your day-to-day when dealing with children. I hope this answers some of your questions and please to hesitate to contact me if you are willing to meet. I have excellent references available upon request. My references can attest to my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on the children I have cared for. Have a bless day.... "When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
