“Zina was able to come on very short notice when I really needed some help, which was very appreciated. She was great, very proactive and able to relate to our kids very quickly. She came up with some great games for our fairly active boys and they had a good time with her. I would recommend her to anyone and we will definitely hire her again.”

“We're so happy that we connected with Dawnn to care for our 16mo old daughter while we were at a wedding. She did a fabulous job with a challenging caregiving situation: it was the first time our daughter had done bedtime without us other than one dinner out when she was 5wks old, she was in an entirely new state, was in a hotel room without a separate bedroom, and our daughter usually contact naps and nurses to sleep at bedtime. We appreciated the cute video of dinnertime, heard great things back from the lobby staff about how much fun it looked like they were having together and came home to a soundly sleeping baby. When our daughter had woken up a little after initially falling asleep and was worried that we weren't there Dawnn did a great job comforting her, figuring out what she thought might help and reaching out to us for a quick call to reassure our daughter that she could go back to bed and we'd be home soon. Thanks Dawnn! You made this evening fun and easy for us :)”

Hi! My name is Kaidy- I graduated with a B.S. from West Virginia University in 2013, then continued to take classes towards a Master’s degree in Education shortly after. I have worked both as a preschool teacher and a full-time nanny since then. I am offering childcare, such as nanny and babysitting, and pet services. I’ve always loved taking care of kids; I started babysitting at 11 years old and continued that career path through my adulthood. I’ve worked with children off all ages ranging from infants and toddlers (including twins!), all the way through high school age. I have the education and training to care for all different types of children through my work as a Paraprofessional; this includes children with developmental, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities as well as children with autism. In my previous nannying experience, my responsibilities with the children have included (but are not limited to): driving or using public transit to take children to school, museums, parks/playgrounds, and sports; daily arts and crafts; STEM experiments; teaching phonics, basic math, writing skills, and homework help; integrating music through guitar, song and dance; and creating engaging, and often educational, daily games. Additionally, I offer household services to the families I work with, such as: laundry, cleaning general play areas, cooking meals, and running errands. I have both a dog and a cat at home- I love animals! So I am offering pet care services as well. I am trained and certified in infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid, and I have utilized my skills several times working with children. I have successfully preformed the Heimlich Maneuver on separate occasions for a baby and a toddler, as well as identified the signs of a child experiencing an asthma attack and immediately used their rescue inhaler. I have also administered regular medication to children (and pets!) and I feel totally comfortable doing so. I don’t have any children of my own, but I grew up the oldest of 30 first cousins and I have absolutely loved being able to care for them, as well as children of any age and background; to see them grow, and help them flourish, is an honor that I don’t take lightly. I am confident in creating a fun, engaging, and educational experience for your little ones. I hope to show your family the compassion and strong work ethic that I have to offer!

Hi! My name’s Guadalupe, and I’ve always had a natural talent for caring for others and creating calm, positive environments. I have several years of experience working with children—everything from school pick-ups and homework help to planning fun outings and bedtime routines. I’m patient, responsible, and very organized, which helps me stay on top of daily tasks while keeping kids happy and safe. I’ve also helped with light household duties like meal prep, laundry, and tidying up, and I’m comfortable around pets (I’ve cared for both dogs and cats). Families I’ve worked with describe me as reliable, warm, and communicative. I really enjoy building trusting relationships and becoming part of a family’s support system.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
