Hi families! Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile☺️ My name is Kailyn, or just Kay! I am currently seeking part time, occasional, along with date night positions. New to UrbanSitter, however on multiple other platforms! I recently was a sitter to 2 girls on the UES (9&12)! I have experience from ages 3m -13y, Including children with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down syndrome( UP syndrome✨)I have been employed at a sensory center, and I've also worked with long term families and enjoy building lasting relationships✨Caregiving has always been a part of my day to day, being the “babysitter” for family friends. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession rather than a “hobby” at the age of 15! I am very personable, compassionate and caring and always take communicating with both parents and child(ren) as a priority. Some of the things I enjoy to do with my minis; I do like to go on a walk(weather permitting), play at the park, do arts/crafts, the library(Amazing classes+📚). Of course, I am open to follow which ever activities you would like me do with your child(ren). In addition to childcare, I am more than happy to lend a hand with household assistance, whether it is running errands, cooking(*When cooking in your home I am open and more than happy to accommodate dietary needs*) and/or tidying up around and laundry. I also love pets so a hand with pet care is not a problem; dog/cat sit, walk/feed :) ! I'm always looking forward to connecting with new families. It's important that we both feel we're the right match for one another! If you have any questions, please let me know, I look forward to hearing from you! Interests outside of caregiving⚖️- Content creation, trying new food places, shopping, wellness, brooklyn bridge pier walks, ALL the museums🖼️🎨🤖 - Spanish language speaker🇩🇴 -Basic Sign language 🤟🏽 References available upon request. Thank you!

Hello - my name is Jas! Currently I’m looking for some part time work, and I have availability for 1-2 evenings a week or weekend. I got into babysitting at a young age for kids in my neighborhood. As I got older I expanded into other parts of childcare as well! Some of my experience includes volunteering at my local children’s center as an after school aide, working and hosting birthday parties at my previous job, being a camp counselor every summer for years, and being a nanny for the past 4 years. I've been working with kids for almost 7 years now, and before the pandemic I was a part time crafts teacher at an after school program. I was in charge of a class of 10-15 kids for a few hours every week doing small projects together. All in all I adore my time with kids and I’m not afraid to get down on the ground and play with or engage your child when it comes down to it. I am very motivated to help children be happy, healthy, and well behaved. I am very interested in helping you with your child and I am really flexible with scheduling. I have previous caregiving experience in dropping off/picking up children, helping them with homework, doing crafts, preparing simple meals, doing indoor/outdoor activities, reading, bedtime routines, etc. If you have a pet I don’t mind! I am not allergic to cats or dogs so I am all good on that front. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have experience with special needs children for my sister, age 19, has mild cerebral palsy. My family owns a daycare which is where I have gained most of my experience. My experience with after school aged children involved providing help with homework and snack preparation. My speciality is working with children who have lots of energy. I enjoy being involved in activities such as: story time, arts and crafts, cooking activities, and play time which fosters one on one communication and developmental growth. I am a very organized, punctual, positive, and hard working individual. Working with children is my passion!

“Odessa is extremely warm and patient. My three year old loved her and instantly had a connection with her. Our 10-month old also bonded with her from the first day. She was very communicative and the kids had a great time with her. My business trip to NYC with the kids is going very smoothly because of her. I would highly highly recommend hiring her to take care of your kids!”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
