Booked by 1 family in New York, NY

Hi! I’m Nathaly, and I’ve been babysitting for about 6 years. Working with children has always been a passion of mine! As the oldest of four siblings (ages 12, 4, and 3), I’ve played a big role in helping my mom raise and care for them from a young age. I worked at an after-school program for about a year and a half, where I supervised and engaged groups of up to 30 children through homework help, games, crafts, and other fun activities. I’m currently in nursing school to become an LPN, with plans to specialize/work in pediatrics because I truly enjoy caring for children and helping them grow in a safe, nurturing environment.

“We absolutely love working with Nathaly! She has been babysitting our two kids (ages 4 and 5)for the past six months, and she is incredibly reliable, warm, and creative. She is always punctual, and communicates wonderfully.”

Imani $25 per hour for 1 child

Hello I’m Imani, a 19-year-old from Staten Island I currently just moved to Bronx, I recently just joined urban sitter to start babysitting professionally, I’m currently attending community college. I truly have a passion for working with children. During a winter internship, I worked with kids aged 6-14 in an after-school program, assisting with homework, leading activities, and building strong connections. More recently, through a summer youth program, I’ve gained experience at a daycare, caring for children aged 1-5. I enjoyed playing with the babies, feeding them, assisting with naps, taken them outside and engaging with parents at pick up time. At both positions, I’ve also contributed to maintaining a clean and organized environment by assisting with tasks like sweeping, mopping, and organizing.

Hi there! I am a recent college grad and born and raised New Yorker who is studying for the LSAT and thought why not continue doing what I love as well; working with children! I have 4 years of prior babysitting experience in New York City and was a head camp counselor in The Hamptons for 4 years as well. I am CPR certified and am skilled in emergency response. I also have a car! I think babysitters and caregivers can leave lifelong impressions on children and I hope to be someone that your child remembers as fun, inspiring, playful and caring! I have flexible hours and would love to be someone you consider first as extra help for your family :)

Talia $22 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I am 24 years old and a recent graduate of NYU Steinhardt’s Master in Musical Theatre. Growing up I babysat for family friends often, ages ranging from under 1 to 11 years old. My two favorite people in the world are my niece and nephew who are the most inquisitive, energetic, and kind little humans. I love being able to nurture curiousity while caring for kids. I have a musical background and cooking is my hobby so I know your kids would have a blast with me as their sitter! My hobby is also cooking! I studied at a traditional Italian restaurant in Siena for two months, and my Italian mother taught me everything she knows! I can cook and meal plan for a big family as well as a small household. My current job is as a House Manager and Costumer at Blue Man Group. I love when kids come to show because they are so excited and ask so many questions and are absolutely the most fun audience members. We often have school groups ranging from preschool to high school and engaging with the students and their questions is one of the most fun aspects of my job. I do not have a car but I do have a valid driver’s license and can take the train.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
