$23 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 10 families in New York, NY

My name is Manisha. I'm 36years old. I come from a huge family and have taken care of children for a long time. I have experience with children as young as 6 weeks - 13 yrs old. There are two families that I've babysat for over 4 years. I've worked as a full time nanny for a 3 month old and 2 yr old toddler. I've also worked part-time sitter with a 3 year old and a 6 week old newborn. I've also babysat for family and neighbors over the years . I'm the type of babysitter who'd rather be outside in the playground or library rather than be in front of the television. I'm also not one of those nannies who sit with the other nannies at the playground and chat instead of playing with the kids. And if its raining or the kids feel under the weather, I love doing fun activities and arts and crafts projects. I also love to cook. Its a passion of mines. The only time I use my cellphone is when the parents are calling or texting.

“This review is for our phone interview. Manisha is an excellent candidate!”

Luca $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Luca (he/they), and I’m a Parsons graduate with a BFA in Product Design. I have always loved working with kids/young people, and have worked at summer camps, as a babysitter (and pet sitter), at after-school care, and have my own experience with younger family members. I am interested in art and making and am comfortable helping kids with elementary and low-level high school homework. I am willing to do chores and complete errands, and though I don’t have a car - I do have a license and experience driving in the city. I can cook and clean, and I love all animals. I’d love to get to know you and learn more about if we will be a good match!

I am an experienced bilingual (Spanish-English) caregiver with a strong background working with children from newborns to 10–11 years old. I have worked as a nanny and au pair in the U.S., and I also have experience as a swim, diving, and gymnastics instructor, as well as organizing children’s events and activities. My background in Law in Mexico has helped me develop strong organizational skills, responsibility, and professionalism. I moved to the U.S. to pursue personal and professional growth, and I take my work very seriously. I am patient, energetic, structured, and deeply caring. I enjoy creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can grow emotionally and developmentally. I am currently seeking a kind, respectful, and professional family who can guarantee consistent weekly hours, as I am looking for a stable full-time position

"Johanna is AMAZING! My two boys love her - she does everything from amazing arts & crafts, to helping with homework, to getting them playing outside! She also drives them and does everything involved with after school activities: packing snacks, getting the right gear, etc."

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."

"Caitlin has been such a lifesaver for our family. We hired Caitlin to help with the after school routine. The kids took to her instantly. She does it all - school pick ups, dinners, baths, lunch making, clean up, etc. She has really helped make a busy time so much easier for us."
