Hello! I’m Skye and I’m a student at Guttman Community College studying early childhood education. I’ve been working as a nanny/babysitter for 2 years and working in a classroom setting with children for 3+ years. I’ve worked with children ages 4 months-9 years of age. I currently work at a Reggio Emilia philosophy Nursery school located in the UES, positioned as an assistant teacher for children ages ranging from 2 years old - 6 years old. I’m a CPR/ First Aid Certified.

I have several years of hands-on experience caring for children, pets, and households, and I truly enjoy helping families run smoothly. Over the years, I’ve cared for children of all ages — from infants to preteens — which has taught me patience, creativity, and flexibility. I babysat regularly for a 1-year-old and 6-year-old for four years, as well as for another family with a baby under one and a 4-year-old for two years. I also cared for a 3-, 5-, and 7-year-old for two years, and during high school, I was a daily after-school sitter and driver for an 8- and 10-year-old. In addition to childcare, I’ve dog-sat for many families throughout high school and college and have experience house-sitting, running errands, and providing general household support. I’m responsible, reliable, and organized, but also warm and easygoing — someone kids feel comfortable and safe with.
