I’m planning on going back to school for early childhood education because working with kids is something I really see myself doing long-term. I started helping out with kids when I was around 11, mostly with neighbors and family friends, and since then I’ve gotten a lot more experience. I worked at a daycare for about a year (including in the twos room), and I’ve also been a nanny for a year for kids ages 3–9. I have two years of paid childcare experience and several years of unpaid childcare experience.
