Hi My names Gretchen I'd describe my personality as caring, outgoing, and supportive! I've always liked working with kids since I was younger. I started off by watching the little ones in Sunday school at my church, till I eventually got into babysitting. I started working with kids when my little brother was born. I'm currently working on getting a psychology degree alongside working and would have weeknight and weekend availability for babysitting. I adore babysitting and working in childcare because of the dynamics of this kind of work. There's always something to do with kids that really makes the time fly, and those few moments of peace in between are always a nice breather. Not to mention how fun it is to see what kind of personalities kids have from such a young age already while helping them grow and have fun! Officially, I have roughly under a year's experience with at-home babysitting my baby cousin and 6 months and still ongoing work at a daycare, which is the best job I've ever had and is a very interesting experience to learn how to manage a classroom full of young children. Unofficially, I have a little brother a decade younger than me that I have babysat for years and still do at times. First and foremost, I am adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certified. I have the most experience with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids. I love getting creative with kids, whether it be simple coloring/drawing or something more complex.
