Hello, My name is Ellen and I reside on the West side of Grants Pass. I moved here 10 years ago from the San Francisco Bay Area for a slower pace of life and to further experience my love of Nature. I am the eldest of 7 children (my Father a Teacher and my Mother a Nurse) and have had many years of experience. For example, I cared not only for my parents/siblings, but ran an In-Home Day Care for 6 years. I also worked within my Community at private homes. I am comfortable with children of any age and really enjoy teaching them about the joy of Nature. Additionally, I have cared for the Senior Population for over 10 years and find it to be very rewarding. I have worked in Grants Pass, Oregon, at private homes, Adult Foster Homes, Assisted Living and Memory Care Facilities as well. My experience is vast: I am proficient in Medication Management, all types of ADL’s, Hospice Care, Rehabilitation, and Companion Care. My skills are: Distribution, ordering and management of all medications including Insulin Dependency and Diabetes. I also offer Meal Preparation, Bathing, Dressing, Feeding, Wound Care, Transportation to and from Doctors Appointments, Light Housekeeping, Assist with Mobility, Tasks of Daily Living and keeping Seniors in their Homes. I am a Medical Assistant, and I have worked with the Alzheimer’s Population as well as being active within our Community.
