“We hired Kera to look after our 8-year-old after school, and we agreed to pay her the hourly rate she wanted ($19). She explained to us that "communication is really important to me," and she confirmed the night before she was scheduled to start that she would be at our 8-year-old's bus stop at the arranged time to pick him up. The next day, her first for us, she no-showed without texting, calling, or any communication at all. Consequently, when our 3rd grader was dropped off by the bus, he was alone, with no one to walk him home (across a busy road). Fortunately, a kindly neighbor saw this and walked him across the street and to our house, where he let himself in. We texted Kera, called her, and wrote her through the Urban Sitters app. Heard NOTHING. She completely ghosted us. Do not hire this person under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!”
