Hello!
I am an experienced educator and caregiver with more than 25 years of experience working with children from infancy through high school. I hold teaching certifications in general education (Early Childhood–6th Grade), special education (Early Childhood–12th Grade), and technology applications (Early Childhood–12th Grade), and I have spent my career helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
My approach to caregiving is calm, patient, and responsive. I believe children do best when they feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Whether we're reading books, playing games, working on homework, exploring creative activities, or simply enjoying time together, I focus on building positive relationships while providing structure and consistency.
I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of learning styles, personalities, and needs, including children with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, and other learning differences. I am also trained in trauma-informed practices and child development.
On a personal note, I am a mom, former Division I student-athlete, and lifelong educator who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I love helping young people discover their strengths, build confidence, and have fun while learning about the world around them.
I would be honored to support your family and provide dependable, nurturing care for your child.
