Hi neighbors! I recently moved from Austin-TX to Saratoga Springs and am looking to find new families here who need babysitting. I have been babysitting for over 6 years. I was an au pair and a nanny, and now, while I have a full-time job, I babysit in my free time. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I have gained great experiences with kids and families. I love children; they always show me new perspectives on life and bring brightness to my days, along with their pure and genuine love. I am calm and patient, and in my free time, I enjoy meditating, practicing yoga, hiking, and reading. I also love traveling and meeting new people and places. I like to be helpful and feel like I'm making a difference in the world. Let me know if you have any questions; I'm happy to answer! 🥰🥰🥰

I’m a fun, energetic person who likes to get out of my house, and try everything. Whether hiking 10 miles up a canyon, or lying in a field listening to birds, I love to be outside. Some other things I love are music/playing instruments, fixing tech, and using my telescope (which I’ll happily let your kids look through if conditions allow). I have about 8 years of experience. Not all in nannying or babysitting, but also volunteering at children’s events for my library/museum/etc, teaching elementary students, supervising large groups at family/church/etc events, and more. One of my siblings is autistic, and I took peer tutoring in school, so have a lot of experience with kids of all abilities, both mental and physical. I’m able to help with homework, transportation, sick kids, crazy hours, pets, and nearly anything else you could think of. I’m always eager to see new people, and look forward to meeting you.

Preston was an amazing sitter, our kids (8, 6, and 5) loved him! He brought lots of fun stuff that kept them thoroughly entertained and they even asked if he could come back to hang outback next day. We’ll definitely work with him again next time we’re back in Park City.

With a deep-seated passion for nurturing young minds, I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, where my coursework has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of child development, diverse learning strategies, and effective communication techniques. Eager to apply this knowledge practically, I bring five years of invaluable, hands-on experience from babysitting for family friends. During this time, I have honed my ability to create engaging and educational activities tailored to various age groups, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, and providing attentive, compassionate care. I am adept at managing various responsibilities, from meal preparation and homework assistance to bedtime routines and creative play. Beyond my dedication to fostering young minds, I am also a medication delegated and have been working as a medicine technician for going on 2 years and possess current CPR certifications for both adults and infants, underscoring my commitment to safety and well-being. Furthermore, my foundational knowledge of healthcare practices and medication administration protocols ensures that I can handle emergency situations with confidence and competence. As an avid pet lover, I am also comfortable caring for animals, understanding their needs, and ensuring their well-being. I am eager to broaden my horizons and extend my care to a wider range of families, bringing my enthusiasm, educational foundation, compassionate approach, and medical expertise to a child care position where I can make a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

I’m an uncle of seven and was lucky to have live with all my nieces and nephews for a time when they were younger. Looking to see what this app has to offer. (Child care, pet care, or senior care)

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
