Hi! I’m Aleah. I have 4 years of childcare experience, including babysitting for military families at Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa, Hawaii, and at Sasebo Naval Base in Japan. I’m also a big sister to four younger sisters, so caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I love animals, marine life, learning new things, and trying new experiences. I’m creative, patient, and enjoy keeping kids engaged through games, crafts, outdoor activities, and other fun adventures. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive while providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

Hello! My name is Allyson, and I recently moved to the area from Wisconsin with my partner after earning my M.A. in Public Service from Marquette University. Caring for children has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I've been babysitting and nannying since I was 12 years old and have had the privilege of caring for dozens of families with children ranging from just 2 weeks old through 12 years old. While I enjoy working with children of all ages, I have a special passion for caring for infants. Building trusting relationships with families is incredibly important to me, and several parents have shared that I was the first person outside of their family they felt comfortable leaving their baby with. I consider that trust an incredible honor and strive to provide every child with patient, attentive, and loving care. My graduate fellowship at a child welfare agency deepened my holistic approach to caregiving. There, I received training in trauma-informed care and Trust-Based Relational Intervention, strengthening my understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and the importance of secure, responsive relationships. I am also currently earning a Trauma Informed Care Certification through Michigan State University to continue expanding my knowledge and provide the best care possible for every child I work with. Whether we're reading books, exploring outside, creating art, or working through big emotions together, I strive to create an environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to learn. I'm also happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, homework/educational activities, and pet care so I can be a dependable, supportive presence for your entire family. On a personal note, I love being in water, quality time with my partner, singing, going to parks, and snuggles with with my kitty, Miss Araya Sunshine. One of my long-term dreams is to open a daycare centered on social-emotional learning, nervous system regulation, and helping children explore their interests and build confidence through safe, nurturing relationships.
