Hi! I’m a loving and dependable toddler mom to my 3-year-old son, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for the past 6–7 years. I have experience caring for children ranging from newborns and infants all the way up to 10 years old, giving me the ability to understand and adapt to the different needs, personalities, and routines of each age group. As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, feel comfortable with, and rely on when it comes to your little ones. I’m patient, nurturing, attentive, and always focused on creating a safe and positive environment where children can feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through playtime, crafts, outdoor activities, reading, learning, and age-appropriate activities, while also making sure their routines and parents’ preferences are respected. Whether your child is an energetic toddler, a curious preschooler, or an independent school-age kid, I’m confident in providing loving, attentive, and responsible care. My goal is for every child I care for to feel safe, valued, and cared for just like they would at home. 💗 I’d love the opportunity to become someone your family can trust and feel confident leaving your little ones with! Child Experiences: I have experience from infant to 10 year olds! I love playing board games or doing crafts with kids! Pet Care: I’ve always been a dog lover my whole life! I can always dogsit for you while you are on vacation! I think dogs would be more comfortable in their own home so I can stop by and let them out and feed them as well! I dont mind a little walk or playing fetch with them! I don’t mind cats at all! Household Services: I don’t mind doing light housework while watching the kiddos! If the kiddos or pets need to be fed I can do that too! I can assure you that your children or fur babies will be fed a good meal!

$18 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 47 families in Heisson, WA

Hey there! My name's Charlee and I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. I am great with all ages but i specialize in infants and toddlers. I also work with a childcare agency and abide by their guidelines and rules in my freelance work. For example, I do not allow television unless specified by the parent. The children and myself will spend time doing activities. I am an artist so I like do do activities that use our imagination and creativity. I am also a tutor so please specify if you would like me to help with certain homework or specific activities like reading or speech. I do light cleaning, cooking and laundry if needed. Please note that if you have your rate posted as “based on experience” and it is lower than my base rate of $17 when I get accepted for the job I will be canceling the job and not accepting a rebooking. This happens way too often and is unfair to sitters. Thank you for your understanding.

Veronika $17 per hour for 1 child

I love being a nanny since it is so much fun to build relationships with kids and watch them grow and develop their interests, character and personality. Kids are always hopeful, positive and strive to do what they want to do. The sky is the limit for them and I love that about kids. I strive to be a positive influence and romodel to all kids and I value making a positive impact in their lives. Being a nanny isn't just a job, its a calling! My experience: ~Being a nanny for multiple families, including kids with special needs. I have worked for multiple nanny and babysitting companies ~I have worked as a Behavior Technician as well as a Special Needs Paraeducator for various school districts. Both one-on-one and in group settings with kids with a variety of behavioral issues and developmental disabilities, mostly on the autism spectrum. ~Academically I have experience being a tutor and am very familiar with K-12 curriculum in the area, mostly at the elementary level. ~When I was a Teacher Counselor at a residential treatment facility I helped with leading, mentoring, modeling, facilitating groups and upbuilding youth socioemotionally.  ~I have 3 kids so I'm very familiar with how difficult it is to raise kids these days. It is definitely the hardest job being a parent but its the most rewarding also!

Alexa $18 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! My name is Alexa, I am 21 years old, and I would love to get to know you and your kiddos! A little about who I am and my experience: I am a 2023 WSU graduate with my B.S. in Psychology, and before I go on to continue my education, I wanted to take the time to get to know myself and my passions a bit more. One of the areas of psychology that I always thought I might want to focus on is child development - and I thought that babysitting/nannying during my break between school would be a wonderful chance to experience the wonderful hearts and minds of kiddos and see if that is something I should further pursue. I am the eldest child of my parents’ four children, with one sister being 8 years younger than me and one brother being 13 years younger than me. Much of my childhood was spent changing diapers, helping with nap time, playing with them, watching them while my parents were busy or out for the night, and generally being a big part of their early years. I also had experience working with children through my church, as we frequently volunteered at a local family homeless shelter where we would play with the kids and try to brighten their days just a bit. Through my church I also spent a couple weeks in Kosovo in the summer of 2019 where I helped teach the local children English. It was a wonderful experience and one that I would love to return to one day. For transparency, I will be candid and say that it has been a second since I have been actively involved in the child caring world. Because of covid during my last two years of high school, and because I was getting my Bachelor’s degree so young, circumstances made it so that I haven’t been able to care for children like I used to in a while. My siblings have also made it clear that they are now too old and way too cool to hang out with their older sister! I will completely understand if my gap in my child caring resume makes you feel uneasy or uncomfortable. I wouldn’t ever expect a parent to trust their children with someone unless they were 100% comfortable with the person- and I am very okay if that isn’t me. If you do think we will be a good fit, I am happy to speak at your convenience! Childcare is a wonderful, fulfilling job and I am very excited to jump back into that world again. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me and for considering me as a candidate to take care of your kiddos :)

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
