Hi! I’m Myklyn. I am currently a mom, dog mom and educator looking to help families with the care they need. Whether it’s house cleaning, pet sitting, or child care I am happy to help! I have been babysitting since a teenager as I have siblings that are 10+ yrs younger than me. Helping and educating children has always come naturally to me and it’s definitely the job I love most! After I finished my AA, I started working in the Olympia School District as a special education paraeducator and fell in love with it. I have been doing it ever since. I recently became a mom to a beautiful little boy and I am now hoping to find an opportunity where I can help another family while also caring for my son. Our society unfortunately makes it very challenging for families to find the care they need for their children, which is why I am hoping to help a family in need!

I have a bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Relations and have been employed as a caregiver for many families over many years. I have cared various ages ranging from newborn to teen and have experience working with developmentally disabled children with autism, down's syndrome and an infant who was born at 23 weeks with both hearing and vision loss. As a Doula I've provided services to several expectant mothers and their families offering prenatal, birth, and postpartum assistance. I believe children thrive in an environment where each unique family's priorities and wishes are paramount maintaining a sense of consistency, stability, and security. In addition to caring for your children's daily needs including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping, I enjoy interacting in guided play and age appropriate activities to support learning and development for all ages. Playing blocks to learn counting, colors and shapes with a toddler is just as fun as helping a teenager prepare for their first public speaking assignment for English class. Hi! My name is Emma, and I am currently a sophomore at Olympic College. I grew up as the second-oldest of 10 children, and taking care of kids has always been something I have loved and wanted to do. I started babysitting at 11 years old because many families found me responsible and able to handle household and childcare tasks efficiently. Now I am 18, and even though I have only had seven years of "official" childcare experience, I have been helping care for kids since around the age of five and have always wanted to help my mom in any way that I could. I have taken a childcare and a first aid/CPR class in the past. I believe that my experience of growing up with so many children has made me responsible, intuitive, empathetic, and attuned to the needs and emotions of a child. My responsibilities have included morning and evening routines, diaper changes, cooking, cleaning, driving to/from places, and putting children to bed. I have also been working for three years now cleaning homes in my area, mostly for the elderly who are unable to do it on their own. I also frequently pet-sit and house-sit, and have worked as a household assistant with projects, cleaning, running errands, etc.

Hi! My name is Rosemary, but I also go by “Rose-berrie,” a playful nickname given to me by the children I’ve cared for. I’m 25 years old and have experience working at a children’s learning center in the Seattle area, where I’ve cared for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. As the youngest of a large family of six, I have also cared for my nephews (ages ranging from newborn to 4 years old), which has shown me firsthand how valuable a reliable helping hand can be for new mothers. I’ve also cared for little cousins, as well as the children of family friends and neighbors, since I was 15. Through my journey in child care, I’ve developed a genuine passion for working with kids and building strong relationships with parents. My experience, both in professional child care settings and with family, has given me skills in leading crafts, engaging in floor play, preparing meals, and keeping daily routines running smoothly. Hey there! I’m Dani. I have experience taking care of children of all ages, which has made me know different stages of their development. During a volunteering at a school, I helped children with their academic activities and organizing sports activities, there I learned to combine education with play. Also, as part of my university internship, I worked with children in vulnerable situations, which made me see the importance of creating a safe and enriching environment for them. I love sports, physical activity and crafts, and there is nothing more fun than sharing these activities with children, helping them develop motor skills, creativity and self-confidence.
