Hi, My name is Griselda, I worked at Easter Seals Angle Lake Child Development Center as a teacher's assistant while I was studying child development in Green River College. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love taking care of babies and children. I encourage learning through playing, exploring, and music. I enjoy reading to babies and children in Spanish and English. I can pick children up from school and drive them to after school activities. I like to go with babies and children to the library and the park. I help children with their homework and reading. My goal as a nanny is to help babies and children grow physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally. I do this by providing a safe and nurturing environment and planning daily fun educational activities for them. Thanks Griselda M.

Bontu $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Bontu, the youngest of five children and part of a large, close family. I have years of hands-on childcare experience from helping my sisters and two sisters-in-law care for their children from infancy through their teenage years. I’m comfortable caring for newborns, toddlers, school-aged children, and teens. I can help with feeding, diaper changes, naps, preparing meals, playtime, homework, and daily routines. I’m patient, calm, responsible, caring, and organized. I enjoy spending time with children, doing fun activities, going on walks, and helping them feel comfortable and safe. I can also help with light cleaning, cooking, and organizing. I understand that every family has different routines and expectations, and I’m happy to follow parents’ instructions and provide dependable, loving care.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Kent, WA

Hi, I’m Marian! I’m a mother and an experienced, caring, dependable, and compassionate caregiver who truly enjoys helping others feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Being a mother has given me valuable hands-on experience caring for children, understanding their needs, creating routines, and providing a loving and nurturing environment. I have experience caring for children, seniors, and pets, and I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I understand that every person and family is different, so I take the time to listen, learn their preferences, and provide care that is personalized to them. With children, I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable. As a mother, I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured when someone else is caring for their child. Safety, patience, communication, and kindness are always priorities for me. I also have experience caring for seniors, providing companionship and helping with everyday routines and household needs. I treat every senior with patience, dignity, and respect while encouraging independence whenever possible. I’m also an animal lover with experience caring for pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and making sure pets receive the attention and care they need. As a mother and experienced caregiver, I know that choosing someone to care for your loved ones is a big decision. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

Beverly $23 per hour for 1 child

I raised 5 of my own children, 4 boys and 1 daughter, from birth to adulthood. I also have 2 granddaughters 5 and 7 years old. I have lots of patience, tons of energy for many activities children love to do, and a lot of love and caring to give. Children are such a blessing and a great joy. I will always carry out your wishes for your family because you have sacrificed, and your role and wishes are very important. I do really love animals, and I have cared for two dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds, that were part of my family. If someone asked me what I would do, if their child did not do as they were asked while I was caring for them on a babysitting job, I would tell them… I would like to have had a conversation with the parents before they left their children in my care, as to how they wanted me to handle that situation. I would like to follow what the parents wishes are, because you cannot make a child do anything. although you can make the parents happy by following their wishes. I have had two previous jobs working with seniors in the past. The first one was mostly companionship, but I also cooked, took her to appointments and to run errands, we would also go walking for a little exercise, and to keep her agile and able to have balance and strength. She had great stories that I would listen to, and we would connect over them… she was a great lady. The second job was working with a gentleman who needed driving to appointments, grocery stores and to the gym. He had macular degeneration so he could see, but not enough to drive. I was very patient and understanding with him, as he did suffer from some age related dementia (he was in his early 90s). I would help him with household cleaning, chores and companionship, he liked to share his life over lunch that I would prepare for him. I also helped him with his finances and writing checks to pay his bills. He was very spunky and entertaining, and he liked to talk about his life when his wife was still alive.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
