It brings me great joy to witness their curiosity as they explore the world around them. Caring for children has always been an important part of my life, not just as a job, but as a natural part of my family life as well. As the eldest child, I took on caregiving responsibilities at a young age. While my parents were working full-time, I was closely involved in caring for my younger sister from the time she was a baby, and I also helped look after many of my cousins. Growing up surrounded by children taught me so much and shaped me in many positive ways. I came to the United States as an Au Pair. I worked with the same family for three years, and during that time I also had the opportunity to work regularly with other families. Through these experiences, I have cared for children of nearly all age groups, including newborns. Over the past five years, I have developed extensive experience providing attentive, nurturing, and safe care for newborn babies during their most delicate and important early stages. With my current family, I began caring for their baby when he was just 1.5 months old, and we have been together throughout his entire growth journey. He is now 2 years old, and as he will soon be starting daycare, I am looking for a new position. My experience with newborns also inspired me to deepen my knowledge through professional training. I have completed birth and postpartum doula training, which strengthened my understanding of newborn care, postpartum support, and the emotional and practical needs of families during the early months. I am also currently completing Montessori teacher training. This has helped me better understand child development, independence, respectful caregiving, and how to create an environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace. Through all of these experiences, I’ve come to realize how fulfilling it is to work with children of all ages. Teaching them while also learning from them is truly a magical experience.
