I love laughing and smiling as my name suggests and am known to sing and play music to those I serve as relief and joy-making. I love little ones and have cared for my nieces and nephews and friends kids for quite some time. I am good at coming up with crafts, outdoor walks and play time and happy to help parents where I can. I have experience early on in my career working as a full-time live-in aid for a woman with severe Autism and disability advocacy and working with those with disabilities are near and dear to my heart. I love working with older folks whether they need help as a companion for groceries or health care, or if they just want a friendly person to play a game with or watch a show with. I have recently served as a caregiver for my father for the last several months and cared for him in hospice through his passing this fall. I have a gift for working with those and the families of those who are severely ill, who have gone through major loss or transition or perhaps are at the end of life themselves. As a practitioner I am attune to caring for those in pain, those with anxiety & depression, ptsd & complex mental states. I am trained in healing touch and use sound and music as therapy. I am told I am a very soothing, calming, grounded practitioner and that people feel very safe with me.
