Tacoma
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 8 families in Lakebay, WA

Hi! I am a college softball player at University of Puget Sound, and I am from Spokane, Wa! For the past 8 years, I have been nannying for the same family at home in Spokane, during the school years and summers. They have three boys, who when I started were aged 1, 3, and 5, and they are now 8, 10, and 12! I also have experience with children as young as 8 months, so I’m comfortable with a variety of ages! I have picked up and dropped off kids at school, done bedtime routines, cooked all meals throughout the day, helped kids with homework, and supervised/driven kids to many after school activities! I also have experience working with a child diagnosed with ADHD and autism. I have helped the family with his outbursts, and give him his medications throughout the day! I love having fun with the kids, but am firm with rules and expectations. I consider myself to be a patient person, especially after working with a child with special needs.

Olivia did so well with my 11 month old! She was energetic, fun and responsible. Will definitely be rehiring! A+

Alessya Tacoma
$24 per hour for 1 child

Hi! - I’m Alessya and a current student athlete at Iona University studying Biology. I’m offering childcare, pet care, and household help. I’m dependable, energetic, and love creating a fun, safe environment where kids can learn, play, and feel comfortable. I’ve been a gymnastics coach for about 5 years coaching children of different ages and taking care of them throughout the day. Whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, reading, helping with homework, or simply having fun, I enjoy keeping kids engaged while making safety my top priority. I also used to be a tutor at Tacoma Community College, so I’m happy to help with homework, studying, and building confidence in academic subjects whenever needed.

Addison 1 review
Tacoma
$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Lakebay, WA

Hi I’m Addison! I'm a junior at WSU studying nursing with several years of childcare experience and a genuine love for working with kids. I’ve been working in childcare since 2020, with kids ages ranging from infancy to 12 years old. From 2[removed], I worked as a part-time nanny for a family and their son three to four nights a week. During that time I helped him reinforce what he was learning in school, gave him swimming lessons, drove him to activities, and loved getting to be part of his daily routine. Currently I’m working toward a career in nursing. I’ve always been passionate about the importance of providing compassionate and attentive care. I would describe myself as patient, dependable, and someone who enjoys creating a fun and engaging environment where kids feel safe and encouraged. I love caring for kids and getting to help them learn and grow! Families have described me as responsible, kind, and easy to communicate with. I understand the importance of reliability and respect. I look forward to building a relationship where both parents and kids feel comfortable and supported!

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
