Hello, my name is Kelsey and I have over 20 years of experience working with children. I am looking for work in childcare and petcare. I have varied experience in babysitting both daytime and overnight care, and i also have experience teaching and have volunteered many years as a camp counselor. When I am tasked with caring for a child, I like to play with them in their world and engage at their level while also bringing in learning and fun activities. I am good with newborns and do not get flustered at crying. I typically care for 2-4 kids at a time and mostly between the ages of 0-10. When it comes to pets, I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and am comfortable with any size or age of pet. I have experience with rodents and horses as well. I’ve never had reptiles or birds, but have always liked them and am willing to care for them with clear instruction. As far as skills are concerned, I am very patient and I perform well under pressure. I can cook, clean, and do laundry, and have a lot of experience with prioritizing multiple tasks at once. I am a devout Christian woman and as such I believe in doing everything I take on with integrity. Because of this, I believe that parents are ordained by God to know what’s best for their children, and I do my best to honor that when caring for someone else’s child. I am looking to supplement my income as I pursue my Accounting degree, and will take on occasional or regular work.
