Catherine $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I’m Catherine—a warm, reliable, and playful caregiver with years of experience working with children of all ages. I’ve worked as a Certified Infant & Toddler Teacher and a Certified Behavior Technician, and I’ve supported many amazing kids, including those with developmental and neurodivergent needs. I’ve recently finished my masters in Clinical Mental Health counseling and looking for babysitting opportunities while I build my caseload. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing spaces for kids to thrive, especially when parents need a little extra support. Families often say I bring a calm, engaging energy that helps their children feel seen and supported. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. I tend to click best with families who are kind, inclusive, and open to a little fun!

Nizhoni $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, My name is Nizhoni and I'm currently a preschool teacher at a local preschool/daycare. I am offering childcare services and household services. I love caring for children from the ages of 2-10. I've babysat in the past and now I've been a pre-school for over a year. I love incorporating education and play into my babysitting experiences. I've worked as a direct care worker for people with disabilities four years. So I would run errands, clean, and handle all household expenses. I am going back to school in the spring so my schedule will open up.

Adi $22 per hour for 1 child

Hello families! My name is Adi, although most of my clients know me as LEIGH, and I’m excited to introduce myself to you. I am currently working as a private caregiver, specializing in child care, senior care, and household assistance. As a proud mother, I have a deep love for being around children of all ages, from newborns and infants to toddlers and older kids, including twins! I find joy in engaging with them through various activities such as crafts, singing, playing and reading bedtime stories. In addition to child care, I have experience as a household assistant. I can help with cooking, cleaning, and running errands, ensuring that your home runs smoothly while you focus on other important tasks. My experience with caregiving extends beyond children. I have taken care of my own grandmother and parents, so I am comfortable and compassionate when it comes to senior care. I can assist with transportation to appointments and provide companionship to ensure that your loved ones feel supported and engaged. Please note that I am allergic to cats and dogs, so I would need to work in a pet-free environment. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your family and provide the care and support you need! Warm regards, Leigh

Beverly $23 per hour for 1 child

I raised 5 of my own children, 4 boys and 1 daughter, from birth to adulthood. I also have 2 granddaughters 5 and 7 years old. I have lots of patience, tons of energy for many activities children love to do, and a lot of love and caring to give. Children are such a blessing and a great joy. I will always carry out your wishes for your family because you have sacrificed, and your role and wishes are very important. I do really love animals, and I have cared for two dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds, that were part of my family. If someone asked me what I would do, if their child did not do as they were asked while I was caring for them on a babysitting job, I would tell them… I would like to have had a conversation with the parents before they left their children in my care, as to how they wanted me to handle that situation. I would like to follow what the parents wishes are, because you cannot make a child do anything. although you can make the parents happy by following their wishes. I have had two previous jobs working with seniors in the past. The first one was mostly companionship, but I also cooked, took her to appointments and to run errands, we would also go walking for a little exercise, and to keep her agile and able to have balance and strength. She had great stories that I would listen to, and we would connect over them… she was a great lady. The second job was working with a gentleman who needed driving to appointments, grocery stores and to the gym. He had macular degeneration so he could see, but not enough to drive. I was very patient and understanding with him, as he did suffer from some age related dementia (he was in his early 90s). I would help him with household cleaning, chores and companionship, he liked to share his life over lunch that I would prepare for him. I also helped him with his finances and writing checks to pay his bills. He was very spunky and entertaining, and he liked to talk about his life when his wife was still alive.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
