Hi families, My name is Gabrielle and I am a current master’s student at CSU East Bay in the School Psychology Program. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Development Psychology where I also interned at the UCLA Infant Development Program. In this role I cared for children three months to three years old, while taking courses focused on child development that could be directly applied in a high-quality early childhood education setting. My values and training are rooted in developmentally-appropriate and child-centered practices, where I truly believe in fostering child autonomy. With robust training in child development, I am willing and able to implement any routines and strategies you may already have with your children. I have a long history of caring for children starting in 2015 when I was in high school working in a home day care, babysitting for family members, and serving as a regular sitter for two families in Los Angeles 2[removed]. My more recent roles have been largely clinical or mental-health focused. I spent two years working as a clinic coordinator at a UCLA Health autism clinic and most recently worked at an elementary school supporting Tk-6th grade students with social-emotional learning. Generally, I am a fun-loving, optimistic, and ambitious individual. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, thrifting for things to decorate my new apartment, and hiking / being outdoors. I am a full-time student and work two full days at an elementary site so evening and weekend babysitting works best for me. I would be happy to connect at a play date, park, or library, etc., to see if I might be a good match for you and your family! Certifications / Clearance: - Minor in applied developmental psychology (completed 300 hour internship at Megan E. Daly Infant Development Program) - California Certificate of Clearance (required by CA public schools & includes a Department of Justice Background Check) - Infant / Child CPR First Aid Certified (2022), online renewed 2026 - Tuberculosis negative (tested 2025) - Up to date on vaccines
Hi there, I’m Danaly! I have about 2.5 years of childcare experience from my time working full-time as a Recreational Leader in my hometown (San Pablo). I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from toddlers (2.5 years) to teens (17 years), and I absolutely love creating fun, engaging activities for them. Arts and crafts are some of my favorite things to do with the kiddos, but I’m also happy to help out with homework or school projects. If needed, I can assist with pick-ups and drop-offs for school or extracurricular activities too. I also do not mind helping around the house if needed! Right now, I work as a Family Advocate, supporting young mothers and their babies under 5. I’m also CPR/AED Certified and 100% pet friendly, so your little ones (and fur babies) will always be in good hands. I’d love to bring my experience, creativity, and care to your family!
“Danaly was a super helpful and fun with my kids (12yrs old and 6yrs old). I feel like she really got to know my kids and created a bond with them.”
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m in the midst of a career transition and am looking for part time work while I’m in school. I graduated from UC Davis in 2019 and have been working as a UX Designer for the last few years. I’ve recently decided to return to school and pursue my interest in psychology and mental health, in hopes of eventually becoming a therapist. I’ve loved working with kids for as long as I can remember, from playing with my baby cousins in middle school, to working for after school programs and summer camps in high school, to teaching youth ultimate frisbee after college. I’ve worked with children in academic and athletic environments, as well as more traditional in-home babysitting. My priorities are the health and happiness of your children. I love arts and crafts, reading, and spending time outdoors- or whatever your kiddos prefer! I do have a car, and am happy to take your children to activities or appointments. I’m happy to answer any questions and look forward to working with you and your family.
Hi! My name is Teresa. I'm looking to take on sitter jobs this summer. I can help with: • Child care • Pet care • Household help Ages: I'm happy to babysit children ages 4 through the teen years. I also have my own car and can help with school pick-ups, drop-offs, sports practices, tutoring, errands, or other activities if needed. Grace Period: I understand that delays happen. If you arrive later than the agreed-upon time, I'll round your return time down to the previous half hour. For example, if we agree on 6:30 PM and you arrive at 6:59 PM, I'll still only charge through 6:30 PM, giving you up to a 29-minute grace period for traffic or other unexpected delays. I'm happy to work with families nearby. Feel free to message me with any questions or if you'd like to see if we'd be a good fit!
⸻ Since 2007, I have dedicated my professional life to working with children and supporting their growth, development, and success. My background as a special education teacher has given me extensive experience working with children of different ages, personalities, learning styles, and abilities. Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, organization, problem-solving, and emotional support, all of which I believe are essential qualities for an excellent caregiver and nanny. Working with children is more than just a job for me—it is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I take pride in helping children build confidence, achieve goals, and feel safe, supported, and encouraged in their daily lives. As a special education teacher, I work closely with children who have unique learning and developmental needs. This experience has taught me how to be adaptable, compassionate, and attentive to each child’s individual personality and needs. I understand that every child learns differently and responds differently to situations, routines, and communication styles. Because of this, I always approach caregiving with patience, understanding, and flexibility. I believe children thrive best when they feel heard, respected, and cared for in a positive environment. Over the years, I have worked with students on academic goals, social skills, behavioral development, emotional regulation, and daily life skills. My work requires consistency, creativity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. I have learned how to encourage children in a supportive way while also maintaining structure and routines that help them feel secure and confident. These same skills translate naturally into being a nanny and caregiver. I understand the importance of creating a stable, nurturing, and positive atmosphere where children can grow emotionally, socially, and academically. One of the things I enjoy most about working with children is helping them recognize their strengths and abilities. I believe every child has potential, and I enjoy finding ways to motivate and encourage them to succeed. Whether I am helping with homework, guiding a child through challenges, organizing activities, or simply spending quality time together, I strive to create meaningful interactions that support their development and happiness. I truly enjoy seeing children gain confidence, learn new skills, and accomplish goals.
