I am graduating this spring with an AS degree in Child and Family Studies from Napa Valley College, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. Prior to teaching, I also have several years of experience babysitting children ages 0-10, including babysitting for individual families, and providing childcare for large groups of children at events. I love working with children and am fascinated by the process of their development! Their little minds are absolutely intriguing. I love to play and experiment alongside them, and my approach to discipline and teaching is very much based in authoritative parenting style (aka gentle parenting) and play-based learning.
