After working as a nanny for four years during and after my undergrad at UCSD, I moved back home to the Bay Area and began employment at a specialized school for children on the with profound autism. My Human Development degree gave me a strong foundation in child development theories, while my work experience has given me a wealth of behavioral management strategies. For this reason, I’m not able to provide care for sick children or in homes where someone is currently unwell (cold, flu, fever, cough, etc.). If I arrive and notice signs of illness that I wasn’t informed about in advance, I may need to step away from the booking to avoid the risk of spreading anything to other children and families.
