I recently moved back to the area and am seeking childcare opportunities. My ample experience with kids in both childcare settings and as a counselor make me uniquely qualified for any childcare position. I worked as a child trauma counselor for children of all ages for five years. This experience provided me with an astute ability to connect emotionally with children, understand their needs, and help them to feel safe. I have a Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology; and worked as a babysitter and nanny for various families while in school. While studying for my Bachelors, I worked at a daycare for four years. I have a year of experience providing behavioral therapy to children and teens with autism and/or developmental disabilities, in addition to caring for kids with special needs in nannying settings. I have adored developing strong bonds with children throughout my life.

Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children. Hi! I'm Riley, I'm 23, and living in the Nob Hill/Polk Gulch area. I graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA in marketing last June, but grew up in the East Bay, and have been living in San Francisco for almost three months. Throughout high school, I frequently babysat for a family with three kids (aged 2-12) and a dog, along with a family with two kids (aged 4-7) and cats. I also worked at a summer camp, responsible for around ten 2-6 year-olds at a time for several hours a day. I'm comfortable cooking, cleaning, helping kids with tasks like dressing, and of course, playing! I can help with homework, assuming it's nothing too advanced. I also have a kitten of my own.
