Hi there! I am 24 years old, and recently moved from NYC to LA to work at UCLA. I am a Staff Research Associate at a developmental neuroscience lab working on an important childhood development study. A huge part of my job involves working with infants, from newborn to 2 years old. I am looking for some babysitting jobs to fill my free time, and would love to help out your family! During my undergraduate years at Barnard College, | studied psychology, with a focus in childhood development. I worked in the Barnard Center for Toddler Development as a teacher for 12 2-year-olds. Hi, I’m Sonia I have a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development with a focus on Elementary Teaching at San Francisco State University. I’ve been working toward a career in education for over five years, and I truly enjoy supporting children as they learn and grow. I have strong hands-on experience working with infants and young children, and I’m especially confident in caring for babies and supporting their early development. I’ve worked as a lead teacher in an infant classroom, where I was responsible for maintaining routines, supporting feeding and diapering, soothing, and creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment. Along with my infant experience, I’ve also worked with children up to age five and as a substitute teacher in a variety of classroom settings, which has helped me adapt to different needs and personalities. In my current role as a teacher, I create engaging and supportive environments where children feel comfortable exploring and learning.
