Hello, I'm Sofia! Currently working with a lovely family helping care for their infant daughter (and young doggo!). I completed studies at USF in 2019 with my major in Critical Diversity Studies, and a minor in Legal Studies. I have been a family helper/nanny for over 13 years with children ranging in the ages of newborns to teenagers. I also have worked with six separate families with infant twins, one of which were preemies. I have an excellent driving record in case you are in need of help that requires me to drive. I am a huge animal lover as well, so if you have any pets, I am open to help care for them as well such as walking and feeding them, etc. Currently open to part time work: 1-2 days a week and/or date night help. I have a teaching background and I love to make my work meaningful and mindful, always making sure I’m present for my kids helping them grow and develop as beings. My teaching style leans more towards Waldorf and Montessori and I prefer to work for no screens families (even better if you don’t have TV at home). I’m from Brazil and I speak Portuguese and English fluently. I’m very responsible and proactive, I tend to fix things as I go instead of being asked to do it.
