Thank you for your interest. ****SITTER POLICY*** - By scheduling a booking with me, you're acknowledging that you've read and will abide by this policy. -PAYMENT: Cash only, please. -AVAILABILITY: Occasional and temporary part-time care. Pet and house sitting. -RATES: My rates are the same whether the child is awake or asleep and the rate per hour depends on the amount of chores and responsibilities I’ll be in charge of. I charge double time for the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Day after Christmas. CANCELATIONS: I understand that plans change. However, I do recommend a 48-hour notice so I can try to fulfill my calendar with a new booking. BOOKINGS: I charge for the full time I was booked for , regardless if I get dismissed earlier than expected because I plan my time and my budget around my bookings. So please, give me a 48h notice if you need to cancel. Also, if you plan on arriving later than expected, please let me know at least 1 hour before the booking is supposed to end. I'm usually flexible with late arrivals, but sometimes I have more than one booking on the same day, and your late arrival can negatively affect the rest of my day. Thanks for reading! :)

I am a mother of 8 children and three beautiful grandchildren. I have been taking care of kids since i was a teenager, with over 30+ years of experience. I have a deep love for children especially babies. As many of my own babies are now grown and moving out the nest, im looking for extra hours to work and do what i love most, watch and help children grow. I am very experienced, punctual, respectful, dependable and organized. I treat my families and children as if they were my very own. I enjoy spending time outside at the park or going on bike rides. I also love playing with kids favorite toys, reading to them, building, coloring and simply just laughing! I like keeping screen time to a minimum or not screen at all. and making sure the children are entertained with fun activities. I usually have a flexible schedule, more often available in the daytime, early mornings and afternoons until early evening. I am available occasionally for date nights. As a recent graduate of UCSC and moved back to the Bay Area. I am passionate about working with children and have a strong background in educational and caregiving settings. I hold a CPR certification and am eager to continue learning and teaching. Growing up in a family of Montessori educators, I was deeply involved in the school my mother and sister worked at in Pacifica, volunteering and gaining hands-on experience. Over two years, I also worked with Mad Science of the Bay Area, leading after-school and summer programs for children ages 3-12. This experience included engaging activities and educational experiences to foster creativity and learning. Additionally, I have provided nanny care for multiple families, including caring for sets of twins and a family of four, where I was responsible for coordinating activities, preparing meals, and providing tutoring support. Since relocating from Santa Cruz County, I worked at Tara Redwood School as an assistant teacher, supporting children ages 2-9 in a variety of classroom settings. In addition, I have experience dog-sitting and house-sitting, providing a well-rounded skill set in both caregiving and home management. Hello Urbansitter parents! I’ve been babysitting children, pet sitting & house sitting for 35+ years, but the last 9yrs here on Urbansitter. I just retired early from my full time job at Kaiser Permanente where I worked for the past 25 years. Prior to that, I worked as a medical assistant for a private Pediatrics office in San Mateo for 5 years. I love kids of any age, enjoy playing games, reading, going to the park, arts & crafts, cooking/baking, doing puzzles or watching a movie with them. I have many years experience with newborns/infants, toddlers, grade school kids & watching multiple kids together. I also drive some of the neighborhood kids where I live, to and from school and their afterschool activities. I have car seats available for toddlers & grade school kids.
