Hello my name is Lindsay, I am currently a graduate student in the Masters of Social Work program at California State University, Northridge. Besides having to take care of all my younger cousins, I have work experience in elementary, middle, and high school levels in the education system. Additionally, I have experience with tutoring kids in math, english and science. I love being around children and have worked as a coach at multiple basketball clinics because they are so fun to be around. I have experience with taking care and babysitting infants, toddlers, and teenagers. I feel very confident with caring for children due to the various settings I’ve been able to work in. I am very patient and caring and would ensure that every child I watch is taken care of. I love to make sure that every kid I watch is happy and comfortable. I am also able to help tutor kids in primary school as well as middle school. Furthermore, I am also very organized and love to do housekeeping work. Besides taking care of the children, I am willing to help the parents with any other tasks they need to get done that they don't have time to do. I hope I can help with any families that may need an extra hand! Thank you for your time and consideration!
Hi! My name is Jenny and I have over 15 years experience in childcare. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked in the children's department of a library for several years. I did storytime, crafts, and helped children with homework and research at the library. I also love painting and drawing and enjoy teaching children how to draw, instilling in them my passion for the arts. I'm a lifelong bookworm, love reading with children, and hope I encourage their own love of books. Books, art, and a great role model can enrich a child's life and watching a child's development is very rewarding. I have worked primarily as a nanny the last five years since moving to Los Angeles. The wonderful families and children I've worked with and grown close to has sustained me in LA. I'm lucky to have created a network of families I babysit for and to have a role in their children's lives. I have the best parents in the world and I model the selfless, gentle, and devoted way I was raised. Being a parent is the hardest job in the world and I will do anything I can to make a parent's life easier.
Hello - My name is Alexis. I have seven years of experience as a babysitter and nanny and have cared for children of all ages — from infants to preteens. I love to do arts and crafts, drawing, painting, and coloring with the kids. I also love board games, lego, hide and seek, and reading stories. I was a volunteer at a Waldorf summer camp for four years, where I worked with children in early childhood. Then I was a nanny for a wonderful family with two children who were seven and ten at the time. I worked at a Waldorf school as the Aftercare teacher and program director for almost two years. I was also a sub for the teachers and their assistants. I supervised children of all temperaments and ages as aftercare was offered to kindergarten through fifth grade. On a typical day I usually watched about 15+ children, while cleaning the yard, helping the older children with homework, coordinate with the parents and teachers, and getting the children signed out for the day. I have two associates degrees from Pierce College. I have a degree in Elementary Teacher Education and a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I currently attend CSUN, where I am getting my teaching credential and bachelors in Liberal Studies. I genuinely love working with kids and plan on becoming an elementary teacher. Specifically, I would like to teach kindergarten or first grade. I am patient, calm, and caring. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. I have no criminal record whatsoever and can provide a full background along with references.
“Alexis was immediately polite and willing to play with our girls. She listened to our routines and worked with them. The girls warmed up to her and even felt comfortable doing imaginary play and books together. She was a great sport about going with it too. She also was respectful and put things away.”
Hi there! I'm Lily. I'm 29 and was born and raised here in Los Angeles. I graduated from Barnard College in 2019 with a BA in American Studies and Film Studies. While in college, I was a sitter for the Barnard Babysitting Agency and for my work study, was an assistant teacher at Tompkins Hall Nursery. From the agency, I gained experience with all age groups ranging from two months to sixteen years old. Most of my jobs were usually taking care of at least two children at a time. At Tompkins, I mainly worked in the infant and toddler rooms where I played with the children, prepared bottles and meals, changed diapers, and cleaned the classrooms. I also spent some time helping out in the preschool and two's rooms. Right after undergrad I worked at We Rock the Spectrum for a few months (then the pandemic hit), which was a blast. After I finishing my MFA in Game Design at Laguna College of Art and Design in 2021, I spent a couple of years traveling around Europe and spent a lot of my time back in the states in Montana. At the end of 2023 I decided to start babysitting again. However, most of my kids have transitioned into preschool so I am now open to working with some new families. Additionally, I spent four weeks this summer working with kids ages 7-13 at UCLA's Bruins on Broadway camp which was a lot of fun! I am currently taking classes as a post-bacc student at the University of Montana with the hope of applying to medical school in 2026. Some random facts about me: I have two younger sisters (twins), four cats, and two dogs. I used to ride horses, play soccer, and cheer. And I love history, theater, and reading!
