I am also an art instructor for the developmentally disabled at Cedars of Marin and have a lifetime of familiarity with special needs children. Art projects, creating block or Magna-Tile castles, and building forts are all-time favorites with me and the kids! Puppets and “stuffy birthday parties” are big hits with 2-5 year olds🥳. 6-8 year olds excel in riddles & jokes and balloon battling.🎈9-12 year olds love tricky brain teasers, 20 Questions, and art projects. I was born in San Francisco & grew up in San Rafael. I went to UCLA with Art & History majors. Besides three sons, I have one fabulous grand-daughter, Zoe age 11 that I cared for extensively as a “high-needs” infant, and a 18 month old grandson 💝.
