I began babysitting at age 14 through a community program called Hire-A-Youth. My first job was caring for 3-year-old twin boys while their mother taught Jazzercise classes. She later recommended me to her clients, which led to additional babysitting opportunities. Over the years, I have cared for children of various ages and also provided assistance to seniors, including light housekeeping and running errands. In community college, I completed coursework in Early Childhood Education, which gave me a stronger understanding of child development and age-appropriate care. As a mother of two grown children (ages 28 and 29), I have firsthand experience raising children through every stage, from infancy to adulthood. Professionally, I worked for many years as a Domestic Violence Counselor/Advocate, supporting families during difficult times. I also worked for Riverside County in a substance use treatment program serving mothers and families before retiring. I am patient, dependable, safety-conscious, and understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment where children feel secure, respected, and cared for. I enjoy reading, crafts, outdoor activities, and helping children learn through play and exploration. Hi! My name is Ryan. I am 22 years old and I am currently an undergraduate student at Cal State Fullerton for my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am offering child care and pet care! I am a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) with over two years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques to help kids build new skills, reach their goals, and improve daily behaviors in a clinic or home setting. This work has taught me patience, empathy, and how to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs. Before becoming an RBT, I spent years as a competitive dancer since age 3 and later worked as an assistant dance teacher for children ages 4–12. I love bringing creativity, movement, and play into my time with kids to keep things fun and engaging. I grew up in Palm Springs but now live in Orange County, and I occasionally visit my hometown, so I’m open to jobs in both areas. I’m also happy to provide pet care!
