I spent nearly a decade in Manhattan, where I first moved in 2015 to pursue my undergraduate degree at Fordham University. Soon after my arrival, I started professionally nannying around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I have provided for families with a variety of needs. From taking care of a newborns, to after school care, to assisting in household management, I have done it all. I have found that my artistic pursuits as well as my experience in teaching theater school-age children complement my child care work extremely well. I have been working with children in various capacities for over 10 years. For 2 years, I worked as an actor on a traveling theatre group that performs shows on bullying prevention and other social issues at schools throughout the greater Seattle area, and then spent 2 years as the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator for that same theatre company. I now work as an Education Programs Specialist at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, where I develop museum programming for students and teachers. In terms of childcare, I have worked with dozens of families, ages ranging from 11 weeks to 13 years old, and I am comfortable and experienced working with all ages and up to three children at a time (or more if necessary). I have learned so much from little ones over the past years and being able to play a role in their growth and development is a great joy. I'm passionate about social-emotional learning and creating opportunities to grow in respect and kindness. I love cooking, crafts, and books!

Hi, my name is Tatia. I am very energetic, organized, dependable, and genuinely caring. I love spending time with children, creating fun activities, and helping them learn and grow at the same time. Over the years, I have worked with children of many different ages in both daycare and educational settings. I previously worked at the daycare center at RefugeeOne, where I cared for groups of children ages 1–11. I also volunteered as a tutor for middle school students, helping with English, math, and science homework. In addition, I spent two months doing service work at a daycare center in San Jose, Costa Rica, and worked for about three years in the after-school program at Lycee Francais de Chicago (French school) with children ages 3–5. Professionally, I have spent the last several years building my career in property management and operations leadership.
