Hello! My first name is Zyla Janine and I just graduated with my Bachelor’s of Health Science at Sacramento State last year. Aside from caretaking, I am also a barista. I care for children of all ages, seniors, and pets as well! I also offer household services. I am the eldest daughter of my immigrant family— have been caring for my younger family for as long as I can remember. It has always been natural for me since it is a responsibility I have always had. I would bring them to school and back from it, cook for them, tutoring, and clean or run errands whilst keeping an eye on them. I have done all of the same and more with my senior family as well. Not to mention, I was a CPR/AED certified lifeguard with several years experience. Additionally, I did three sports in high school: volleyball, basketball, and track & field. I went to sectionals for shotput and discus back then—and I am currently a 2x champion for the intramural volleyball league at the Sacramento State gym. If your child is interested in sports or education, I am glad to help! I was also a tutor at Kumon, an ELA and math extracurricular program that helped kids with their homework as well as activity problems we provided. I also helped my brother with ADHD with his homework growing up too. I have always been a high achiever in school until now—I was on the Dean’s Honor List for every semester I have been at Sac State! I have been around small caged animals most of my life, like guinea pigs and fish, but I love cats and dogs and would be open to work with them!

I am a a current Medical Assistant in training that had learned all of the basics such as checking vitals, CPR, etc! I’ve grew up taking care of children and proceeded to work in daycare at the age of 16! I have experience with children all ages with all different backgrounds. I used to work as a certified parent educator/Facilitator for about 5 years. I work with Sacramento First Five and I raised 2 kids that speak 3 languages and excel in life. I firmly believed kids are here ro teach us and we must learn from them before we can intent teaching them. Each child is born with unique abilities and characteristics and personality traits that provide us all the information we need to help a child reach their full potential. To guide/coach a child you must know him/her first. I have experience house sitting mid size homes and large estates short and long term. I believe it’s essential for families to have peace of mind that their home will be running fine when they are away. I take care of contacting maintenance personnel if needed, manage house cleaning staff, take care of dry cleaners, make sure pantry and basic items are ready and available when the family returns. I can do airport pick up and drop off. I have work in ranch homes with horses and I make sure that runs properly as well. I love dogs and cats, have a small dog at home and I believe our pets choose us their purpose is to complete us. At 50 years old I have learn a thing or two about life, my approach to everything I do is to come from contrition and connection. I learned not to meek my purpose in life when the purpose is to live a meaningful life and create deep connections a long the journey. I am bilingual English and Spanish, the modern family dynamic nowadays is multicultural families and I can adjust and understand each family has different and specific needs.

Hi every one my name is Franchesca, I am a sophomore in college. I grew up by the beach my whole life so I love anything revolving nature and outdoors. I am a very understanding individual when it comes to children, I love teaching my nieces new things such as cooking treats or painting. During the summer I often watch kids with my grandma as she has her own care taking company with age ranges from 2-8. I’m open to care taking for pets as well. If that’s taking them for walks feeding them growing I’m up for the challenge. As well as helping around the house as needed rather that be dishes or picking up laundry for the family I’m always open to discussing any and all help needed. I was in cheer all throughout highschool so I can understand life gets busy and if you need your child to be taken to school or sports related events I am available for taking them to that as well.

My availability is Monday-Friday mornings and full availability on Saturday & Sunday. I have worked with children ages 5-6 for about 6 months as a teacher's assistant.
