I have 5 years experience as a lead preschool teacher. I worked as a French immersion preschool teacher at the International School of San Francisco, where I work with kids between 4-5 years old. This is a Prek-12th French immersion IB school. I have experience as a French immersion preschool teacher at Au Beau Séjour French Preschool in Oakland, working with ages 3-4. I have experience as a Preschool Teacher at Acorn to Oak in Sacramento, working with ages 3-5. This school followed Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf philosophies. I have nanny / babysitting experience with ages 6mo - 10 (I have experience babysitting 1 - 4 child families). I grew up with younger twin siblings that I loved helping taking care of. Hi, I am a 20 year old part time college student from the east bay. I am trained in conflic resolution and outdoor education, I am a lifeguard with CPR certification. I took ASL for 4 years in high-school, and am proficient and able to communicate clearly in ASL. I have worked in many different forms of child care. I have taught and directed circus summer camps as well and classes for 3 years, working with students ages 6 to 15. I taught and demonstrated different circus forms, helping each student succeed. I volunteered as a youth cabin leader for a non-profit organization for 6 weeks over the last 3 years, working with ages 8 to 12. I lived in the cabins with 7-9 students, attending to their needs and supporting them in their social-emotional development. Last spring I was hired as a Facilitation Fellow, I was then in charge of a youth leader as well as a cabin of 7-9 students during the morning and evenings. During the day I taught the curriculum, including conflic resolution, assertiveness and the importance of diversity to 15-16 upper elementary students at a time.

Hi! My name is Natalie and am 25 years old. I'm an experienced babysitter with 10+ years of experience who has a passion for child care with a goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I received my bachelor's of science in nursing this past May at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland and am currently finding occasional babysitting jobs as I study for my state board exam. I wanted to go into nursing because I have always enjoyed helping people. I have always enjoyed working with children, which is why I chose pediatric nursing and why I have always gravitated to childcare jobs. My mom and grandmother owned a daycare for 13 years of my life and I was a big help, so I have experience taking care of newborns all the way to teenagers. I have volunteered during the summer at many camps as a youth counselor. During the pandemic I worked through zoom to provide one on one care with children that needed homework assistance or just virtual playtime. I have worked as an after school instructor at my local elementary school, where I am currently working. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and sport practices, crafts, bedtime routines, and tutoring. I can also clean, tidy up the house and run errands if needed. My main goal is to always make sure children are having fun in an educational way and providing a safe environment for them. I am a big fan of arts and crafts so I always carry crafts around me in case a fun little activity can be done. I also love pets and take care of them as well! I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care. I am also bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently, and wouldn’t mind giving a little Spanish lesson every now and then. I like to her walk my dogs, do puzzles, and watch movies in my spare time. I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified. I look forward to meeting you! 😊
