Hello families! During the day, I am a Substitute Teacher for K-12 charter schools. In addition, I am a Tutor specializing in ESL, ELA and Reading Comprehention. I have a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and I've served in the Peace Corps as a TEFL Teacher and Trainer (Ukraine, 2[removed], and Uzbekistan 2002-2005. ) I am a very caring, fun and creative caregiver who thinks outside of the box! I like to create fun activities to keep the kids busy and engaged. Not a big fan of Tech for play or entertainment! I prefer Reading books/Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Games, Outdoor Play, Music & Movement for the little ones (play a little bit of guitar), and Cooking. Lastly, I like helping out with pets and have experience with Seniors as well!

Hello, my name is Lacey and I am a second year in college and CSU Long Beach majoring in Public Health. I have always had a passion for working with kids, which is a big part of why I want to become a pediatric PA in the future. I have two nieces and three nephews of my own from infant to 4 years, and spending time with them and babysitting them has given me a lot of hands on experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. I have also babysat for other families with kids who are older ages and really enjoyed creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them to be in. I would describe myself as patient, responsible, and energetic. I love being creative, playing games, and being outside to have fun, but also love a movie night once in a while. I can do anything from cooking a meal, maybe not gourmet, but something balanced and sustainable and even helping with homework, especially in math and science. I have previously been CPR certified although it recently expired, but I am working on getting certified again! I am also a big animal lover and have four dogs and a cat of my own, so I am completely comfortable caring for pets too. I also have my own reliable car, so I can provide transportation if needed and am also willing to drive the family car if preferred. Overall, I am a dependable and caring babysitter who love making sure kids (and pets!) feel safe, happy, and are well cared for.

As a babysitter, I have taken care of children from ages 6 months to 11 years of age. Every kid is different in their own unique way and that's why I decided to major in child and adolescent development. Hi, my name is Cynthia! I have been working with children for about proximately the last 5 years. I started by watching my nieces and nephews before taking care of my friends kids. I usually babysit children at ages 1-8 but I am willing to babysit kids a little bit older. While I do not own a car, or know how to drive one, but I do have my own means of transportation to arrive on time. I can even do light housework and do not mind animals being around.
