As the oldest sister of eight siblings my story life helped me to develop the skills to care for kids of all ages, evolving into a problem-solving patient caregiver. In my youth, I started volunteering as a babysitter and tutoring in my community. Later, I went to medical school and graduated as an International Medical graduate in Ecuador, I am currently volunteering at Yale School of Medicine conducting remote research on child development while studying to take the exams for the US medical license. While in college, I practiced Andean folkloric ballet as a professional dancer which aided to sharpen my skillset for teamwork and leadership, expanding my creativity which comes in handy in activities for kids. I am fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker, so I could tutor kids teaching Spanish if it’s an interest of their parents for them to become polylingual. I am also an adept pet house sitter and enjoy gardening. I have professional knowledge on nutrition and am passionate about children's well-being and healthy lifestyles. I am a loving aunty of four cuties, and I like to keep up to date with the animated movies to be able to give them my point of view on their topics while reading fantasy books to them as much as I can. I aspire to become a pediatric surgical oncologist, and will be applying for pediatric and surgical residency programs for 2027. I have a very flexible schedule until then.
