Hi! I'm a recent high school graduate, attending community college in the fall. I'm looking for an occasional or part-time job doing something I enjoy-- and I love working with kids! If I find we are a good fit, I'm open to considering longer-term options. Experience & Qualifications: I have some babysitting experience with another local family who I babysat for occasionally throughout high school. Their kids were 4 and 7 at the start. I've also worked as a substitute classroom aid at the German Language School of the North Bay in Novato and mostly substituted in the kindergarten class which had kids ranging from 3 to 6 years old. To learn to distinguish good risks to take from harmful or dangerous risks. I want to encourage them to play hard and I use kindness as a guiding principle in everything. I hope to help them build healthy confidence, knowing they are capable and can do hard things– and are able to ask for help. I value a healthy and age-appropriate transparency between child and adult, enough for children to know that adults aren’t perfect and we don’t expect them to be perfect either.
