Hi, I’m Rick; a caring, energetic, and responsible individual with a lifelong passion for helping families thrive. I’m 37 and currently based in Redwood City. With a strong background in both child and pet care, I bring over three years experience working with all age groups from newborns and infants (1.5 years experience) to toddlers, preschoolers, school age kids, and teens (3 years’ experience each). I love playing, teaching, and learning with kids of all ages, adapting creative activities and games to keep everyone engaged. I focus on fostering a supportive, positive, and fun environment while maintaining structure and clear communication. Parents can count on me for organization, reliability, and compassion at every step. While my main focus is on child care, I also have extensive experience in animal care, behavior, and training (over 3 years). Alongside my wife, I’ve prepared healthy, natural organic treats and meals for pets, and I’ve led group outings for dogs in our local area. As a telepathic animal communicator, I genuinely understand pets as family; I currently care for three cats and have cared for several dogs and cats in the past. My core values include healthy living, mindfulness, and keeping a toxin free, caring home. I believe in living with integrity and consistency aligning words, actions, and beliefs. I love to teach and guide through games and self reflection and I'm always eager to help young minds flourish. If you’re looking for someone compassionate, honest, detail oriented, and fun, who understands the needs of both kids and family pets, let’s connect!

Rick helped my son improve his communication at home, he's very thoughful and helpful guy.. He's just another member of our family..!!🍃🍃🙏🏻

$45 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in Menlo Park, CA

After working as a nanny for four years during and after my undergrad at UCSD, I moved back home to the Bay Area and began employment at a specialized school for children on the with profound autism. My Human Development degree gave me a strong foundation in child development theories, while my work experience has given me a wealth of behavioral management strategies. Both allow me to create the most supportive and caring environment I can for the children I have the pleasure to care for. I am registered with Trustline and CPR/First Aid certified.

Kimiro is dependable and hardworking, and was an asset to our household. She prepared lunches, did the dishes, went grocery shopping, and played with our two children (ages three and five). She also helped with additional household chores like laundry, folding, and putting away toys. We highly recommend Kimiro!

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I'm a mother of three (ages 15, 16, and 18), with lots of experience caring for multiple children. I'm patient, kind, organized, and proactive. I'm fluent in Spanish and English, CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a valid driver's license, a clean record, and my own car. I love keeping babies and kids engaged with activities like reading, arts and crafts, and trips to the park or library. I'm available Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a. m, as I work with another family in Portola Valley afterward. During that time, I can help with bathing, laundry, bottles, organizing, and drop-offs/pick-ups if needed. References are available upon request! My daughter loved playing with Isabel. She had a wonderful time. Would definitely hire again!

Hiii!! My name is Carmina. I've been working with kids since I was 15. I started by watching my younger nephew and niece, and then began babysitting for kids in my neighborhood. Over the last few years l've worked primarily with babies and toddlers, but I love kids of all ages. Things that I like to do If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside, go to the park, museums, go for walks or the beach if parents are comfortable with that. I’m a strong swimmer so your kids are always going to be safe with me. But if is not nice outside, I whip out my crafts skills, also love reading to kids, doing puzzles, playing with blocks, dolls or whatever the kids or babies are skill to play. In my free time I like to read, play basketball, a bit of soccer, and tennis! Also going to the beach . Spanish is my first language so I can teach to your kids Spanish. CPR and first aid certificate. Until recently I was taking care of a 21 months old baby full time, I take care of her since she was 7 weeks old. Before her I worked with a family for a year and half with a boy who was 4 months old when I started and was 2 years old when I finished and parents decided to sent him to preschool! two years, before him I work with a 2 years old and a new born. I still babysit for them for date nights or whole weekends if the parents need a break, they kids are now 5, 3 years old a 16 months old baby!
