Hi! My name is Evie and I am 21 years old. I am a student at Cañada College majoring in Social Work. My passions include working with kids, art, and cooking. My five years of professional childcare experience include working summer camps, being a teachers assistant, working at two daycares, babysitting, and tutoring. I have worked with kids of all ages. When I show up for work I will always show up prepared. I often will plan crafts and activities that the kiddo will like. In the past I've taken my kiddos to the park. Prior to this, I spent several years working in the medical field in various roles, including serving as an EMT in the Bay Area, where my compassion for others made a perfect fit and helped refine the ability to stay calm under pressure. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and am also a certified doula. My caregiving experience includes many volunteer hours as a preschool aide when my son, now 25 years old, was younger. I have always enjoyed being around both children and seniors. I helped care for my elderly father in his later years, and I have always had pets; currently, I share my home with two wonderful dogs.
