I have over 20 years of experience as a professional nanny and have worked with children from newborns to 12 years old. I am certified in CPR and first aid, and I am adept at multitasking while supervising children. I am also skilled in preparing nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children. Additionally, I have experience in sleep training, potty training, and led weaning for babies transitioning to solid foods. I am a structured nanny and adhere to a sleep schedule that begins on Day 2 of a baby’s life, as growth and development continue.
Hi, my name is Tatia. I am very energetic, organized, dependable, and genuinely caring. I love spending time with children, creating fun activities, and helping them learn and grow at the same time. Over the years, I have worked with children of many different ages in both daycare and educational settings. I previously worked at the daycare center at RefugeeOne, where I cared for groups of children ages 1–11. I also volunteered as a tutor for middle school students, helping with English, math, and science homework. In addition, I spent two months doing service work at a daycare center in San Jose, Costa Rica, and worked for about three years in the after-school program at Lycee Francais de Chicago (French school) with children ages 3–5. Professionally, I have spent the last several years building my career in property management and operations leadership. I am currently in between career transitions and taking time to thoughtfully decide on my next long-term professional move. During this period, I would love to return to working with children through occasional and part-time babysitting, as it has always been something I genuinely enjoy and find fulfilling. I am CPR/First Aid certified and pride myself on being patient, attentive, responsible, and engaging with children. My philosophy is to keep kids active, entertained, safe, and supported so they feel comfortable and have fun while parents feel at ease. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I am available for occasional, part-time, evening, and weekend babysitting opportunities. Please feel free to contact me if you would like references or recommendations from previous families I have worked with — I would be happy to provide them. Please note: 2-hour minimum.
**Available to work Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's** I have my Master's in Speech, Language, and Hearing. I have been working with children for 16+ years starting with my brother and sister. I've babysat for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children. I have worked as an Assistant Teacher and Camp Counselor and love building relationships with the children I work with. In my free time, I sing, work out, and read. “Rifka did great with our son! She seemed very comfortable with his age (9 months old) and was very interactive with him. She followed our simple bedtime routine instructions and was able to get him to sleep. She kept us updated and did not hesitate to call if she had any questions.”
Hi there! My name is Helen, and I have been working with children for over 15 years. I’m currently working as a teacher assistant at a local school. I'm caring, reliable, and punctual. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. Thanks!
Hi! I’m Bailey 😊 I’m a UCSB alum (BS in Psychological and Brain Sciences), EMT certified, and currently in registered nursing school. I have 8+ years of experience caring for children of all ages. I worked at the UCSB Child Care Center throughout my undergraduate years, including in the infant and toddler rooms where I regularly cared for multiple children at once. I also previously worked in Labor & Delivery as an OB/Surgical Tech, where I assisted in deliveries and C-sections and gained strong exposure to newborn care and hospital safety. I’ve worked as a paraeducator supporting children with special needs and currently work as a substitute teacher (TK–12 + SPED), so I’m very comfortable with a wide range of ages and needs. I’m warm, reliable, and truly love caring for kids—it’s a big reason I’m pursuing nursing. I enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I have my own car, am CPR/First Aid certified, vaccinated, and happy to provide references. I’m also very comfortable with pets! I’d love to connect and see if I’d be a great fit for your family!
