Hi! My name is Maya, and I’m currently a Biology major at College of San Mateo. I graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco and have been babysitting since I was 14, working with children of different ages and personalities. I truly enjoy caregiving because I love building connections with kids and creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they can feel comfortable and happy. I’m also a big animal lover as I’ve been raised around dogs my whole life and am very comfortable caring for pets as well. Something personal about me is that I hope to become a dentist in the future, and I’m already a certified dental assistant. I’m also open to pursuing pre-med, so I’m very interested in healthcare and helping others, which is a big reason why I enjoy working with children.
