I am a full time employee as a diesel mechanic at a local tractor shop and a part time student. I also am in the middle of trying to get my own small business up and running. When I am not at school I am hanging out with my family, cooking family dinners or cleaning or maybe even studying for my classes! I have taken three years of American Sign Language in High School. I am not fluent but will be more than happy to try my best if it will come in handy! A Little About Me 🩷 I’m a caring, patient, and creative childcare professional with 5 years of experience working with children from infants through 12 years old. I’ve worked as a lead teacher in both infant and preschool classrooms and have 16 ECE units, including coursework focused on infant and toddler development. Outside of childcare, I’m a very creative person and love doing art, listening to music, traveling, and exploring new places. I came to the United States from Ukraine two and a half years ago to help my brother care for his children. At that time, the older girl was five years old and the younger had just been born. I cared for them full-time until recently, when the younger one began kindergarten. Through this experience, I discovered how much I enjoy working with children and how rewarding caregiving can be. My professional background is in healthcare — I am trained as a nurse — which has given me a strong foundation in responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to others’ needs. In addition, I have completed CPR and First Aid training here in the U.S., so families can feel confident that their children are in safe hands. Now that my niece is in school, I am looking for a new opportunity where I can bring my skills, experience, and genuine love of caregiving to support other families.
