Hi, I’m Mikah! I offer occasional childcare with experience caring for children from 4 weeks old through early teens. I’ve been a nanny since 2018 and was a manager at a local swim school for three years. I’m currently nannying while completing my internship to become a licensed school psychologist. Outside of work, I coach youth cheerleading and compete on a cheer team myself. My responsibilities have included driving kids to and from school, tutoring, leading arts and crafts, teaching swim lessons, and helping with homework. I’m also comfortable with light housekeeping, cooking, errands, and have experience with travel nannying and overnight care. I hold a B.S. in Developmental Psychology, an M.A. in Educational Psychology, and am currently earning my Ed.S. in School Psychology. I am Elena, an outgoing and friendly undergrad college student currently attending Sac State!🐝 I'm studying to become a mental health clinician at either elementary or middle school, so working with children is something I'm in the long-run for! I'm the eldest to three younger siblings (aged 10 months, 9, and 18) and care for several cats, dogs, and lizards in my home! I have three years of working with children under my belt as an after school program leader to first through sixth graders. I am CPR/AED certified. Hello, I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2018, and recently received my masters. I am employed full time at a nonprofit organization, and looking for opportunities on the weekends and evenings. I have over 7 years of experience working with children 4-16yrs. My first experience was taking care of my younger cousins, and then professionally working at a school. I supported English-language learners achieve their reading goals. I also was an afterschool program facilitator working with kids 5-10, so I have tried every arts and craft project.
