Caring for your kids is a great way to combine these things while I figure out what's next. Happy to engage in activities, go to the park, read, draw, stay off screens if preferred, make healthy snacks/meals, adhere to your routines and boundaries, and be a trustworthy (and hopefully fun) buddy. Most of my recent experience with kids is more casual: hanging out with friends' kids. I have a fair amount of distant babysitting experience from years ago! Happy to offer referrals. I'm gluten-free but can cook anything, and know my way around dietary restrictions.

I am now a nutrition and garden educator in Oakland Unified School District. My passions lie in making sure children receive equitable and accessible outdoor education and fresh food! I mostly work with 3rd, 6th, and 9th graders, but am comfortable with all age groups. My experience has been primarily with children from 10 months- 10 years old. I am also available to help with tidying, homework, and cooking. During childcare hours, I prioritize hands-on, outdoor if possible, activities instead of screens.
