Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children.
