Hi families! I bring a strong mix of education, experience, and heart to caregiving. I spent three years as a teacher's aide working with infants through pre-school aged children, and I'm also a proud aunt who helps babysit my three nephews and niece. For the past 4 years, I've worked as a wellness educator supporting children, teens, and older adults so caregiving across the lifespan is second nature to me. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in Mental Health and Wellness with a focus on family dynamics, and I'm a certified personal trainer. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring safety is always a top priority. Families describe me as attentive, caring, and trustworthy, while kids love my calm, patient energy and enjoy story time, arts and crafts, and fun learning activities. Since I work full-time during the week, I'm currently available for occasional date nights, some weekday evenings, and weekends. Hi! I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old as I am the oldest of 5 children. I currently work at Stanford Children’s Hospital as a Patient Companion and my duties were similar to babysitting duties and much more. I have worked at Stanford Children’s Hospital for nearly 4 years and previous to that I worked in senior homes as a CNA. I also have my CPR/BLS certification in pediatrics and adults. I have also volunteered to provide companionship to seniors in hospice care! My experience at Stanford has taught me so much about children such as how to promote developmental skills, newborn care, or even keep kids entertained while maintaining a safe environment. Hi, my name is Megan and I am currently working at a Daycare/Preschool setting. I have been working with infants and toddlers, I am offering childcare and preschool age care. I am also offering Household services (I can run errands no problem!) I love working with preschoolers, I have been doing it since I was 30 years old for a total of 8 years altogether. My responsibilities have included supervision of children, and doing crafts and coloring with them, putting them down for naps preparing snacks and lunches (per the school schedule) and assisting with the potty. My other experience has been with infants and toddlers following after the preschool age recently; which I follow their feeding schedules along with singing songs, playing with them, diaper changes on the hour, then putting them down for scheduled naps in infant’s cribs. I have received and completed my CPR/AED & First Aid training Certificate for Infants, toddlers and kids. I am not fond of really big dogs, but I am happy with working with families with medium size to small puppies or dogs in the home. I am not a cat person at all.
