I am currently taking a gap year while applying to Speech-Language Pathology programs, and I’m looking to connect with families who need part-time childcare or occasional babysitting. I am an older sister so growing up I would act as the second mom and be very protective over my little sister. In general growing up I was always one of the oldest kids with family friends and just family in general. I was raised surrounded by kids and that is really where I grew the love for them and especially the patience for them. I am such a happy fun, loving and loud person to where I keep the kids entertained or if they get bored I just make up random games on the spot and have some fun. In my first 3 years of high school I coached one of the local youth cheer teams. I worked with ages 4-12 in this role. This past summer before I moved here for school and now I am a seasonal worker I am an employee at Carmel Valley Ranch. I work at the kids camp there. It basically is a everyday day care center where it is a play room where we do crafts, read books, play games, and take the kids outside to enjoy the fresh air. With this and young kids having fun we do clean up the room a good amount of times during the day. With being surrounded by kids through out my whole life I am not studying to go into education for the ages 1st-3rd.
