I am available for regular afternoon, evening, and/or night babysitting and bring over 10 years of experience working with children ages 0–15. My background includes many years as a behavior specialist and family support specialist in the school district, three years of intensive early intervention therapy, and extensive experience supporting children with developmental differences (speech delays, ADD/ADHD, ASD). I am trained in ABA methods, play therapy, ESDM intervention, DIR Floortime, and occupational therapy strategies. I also offer early intervention services and parent coaching for families who feel they would benefit from additional support. Hi! I have always loved working and engaging with children of all ages. I've been babysitting on and off for kids age 6mo - 12 y/o over the years, including my nephew and friends' children when they need extra backup or simply because I love the 1:1 time with them. I've done sleepover sitting and bedtime routines, school drop off/pick ups, homework help, lots of fun field trip adventures with older kids, creative projects or games at home, etc. I'm comfortable and confident with any aged child. In 2021 I took a professional sabbatical during which time I worked as a substitute teacher with Mission Montessori (for the pure enjoyment of it), working with children 6 months - 3 years old. I have also volunteered as a reading and homework tutor of elementary school-aged children in the past. I'm very good with kids - patient, child-centered and love to make them feel seen and supported emotionally while encouraging their creativity and learning. I was a kindergarten teacher for years and an au pair in the US for six years working for two loving and amazing families In Mill Valley, CA. I am now a permanent citizen. I’m very comfortable with any age group. Have tons of experience with newborns as well! I have just moved back to the Bay Area after living in South Lake Tahoe for about a year. I am a very outdoorsy person and I love dogs, cats and reptiles! I am very organized, love fitting in some kitchen tidying up and laundry folding while the kids nap! Please make sure any overnight requests are made at least one week in advance. I was also a house manager for years for the same families I babysat, so I’m super comfortable with house sitting, dog sitting, tidying up the home, driving around to help you with errands and more :) feel free to lay on me all your needs and I can do my best to accommodate them. - willing to remove shoes, wear masks or any other personal family requirements you might have.

I grew up with 3 sisters and 2 brothers and we had dogs and cats. I played sports and first babysat at the age of 13. I love the beach and body surfing, I love to sing to the little ones and teach them songs, I like to have fun reading books, eating food, playing with just about anything (just a glass of ice water is entertainment for 30 minutes with a 15 month old-- yes, ice.. first it's solid and then magic-it disappears). I love to problem solve... or use the tool of distraction. And I do believe that "to every task that must be done there is an element of fun". I work part-time at the Ferry Building Book Passage and have been there for two and a half years, it's a great environment and I enjoy working with the public. There a lot of kids who come in on the weekends and I have fun getting to know them and what they like to read. I have been taking care of a year and a half boy for spurts this past year and it's been so much fun. We would go to the Main Library storytime for an outting and it was a real treasure. It is such a pleasure to work with kids, as they are so much in to the moment.
